CBM Kenya cooperates with telecommunications provider for a national programme for comprehensive rehabilitation of Kenyan children with cerebral palsy.

A partnership between CBM Kenya and Safaricom Foundation will see the rehabilitation of 65 Kenyan children with cerebral palsy at selected CBM partners in 2010.

The programme encompasses the identification, referral, assessment, therapy and follow-up, provision of assistive devices and special seating, any required surgery, and steps in social integration of children with cerebral palsy between ages of 0 – 10 years, over a one year period.

Participating partners include APDK and AIC Kajiado Child Care Centre who will drive identification and rehabilitation of children, while AIC Cure Children's Hospital will provide any required surgery.
