St. Lucy's School for the Blind

This is a large residential school for visually impaired people, located near the slopes of Mount Kenya in eastern Kenya. Students receive a good primary education from dedicated teachers, and have access to computer training and a large library.
Vocational training is offered in basketry, knitting and sewing to young ladies. A new shoe-making/leather craft training is popular with the young men.
